Adding Keywords to Track

Learn how to add and manage the keywords you want to track for traditional search engine rankings.

Adding Your First Keywords

Navigate to Keywords

From your Dashboard:

  1. Select a brand
  2. Click "SEO Rankings" in the sidebar
  3. Click "Add Keywords"

Enter Keywords

Add keywords in the input field:

  • One keyword per line, or
  • Comma-separated list

Example:

best crm software
crm for small business
customer relationship management tools
hubspot alternatives

Configure Settings

For each batch of keywords, set:

Location:

  • Select target country/region
  • Rankings vary by location

Device:

  • Desktop (default)
  • Mobile (if tracking mobile rankings)

Language:

  • Primary language for search

Save and Start Tracking

Click "Add Keywords" to save. Rankings will appear within 24-48 hours.

Choosing the Right Keywords

Keyword Types

Brand keywords:

  • Your company name
  • Product names
  • Branded terms

Category keywords:

  • "best [your category]"
  • "[your category] software"
  • Generic industry terms

Long-tail keywords:

  • Specific queries

Managing Keywords

Viewing Your Keywords

The keyword list shows:

  • Keyword text
  • Current position

Editing Keywords

Click any keyword to:

  • View detailed history
  • Change settings
  • Add notes
  • Remove from tracking

Bulk Actions

Removing Keywords

To stop tracking a keyword:

  1. Find it in the list
  2. Click the delete icon
  3. Confirm removal

Historical data is preserved for reference.
