Step-by-step guide to upgrading your subscription plan for more brands, features, and capabilities.

When to Upgrade
Signs You Need More
Consider upgrading when:
- You've hit your brand limit
- You need more topics or prompts
- You want content briefs or link building features
- You need API access
- You're ready for deeper analysis
Hitting Limits
You'll see warnings when approaching limits:
- "2 of 3 brands used"
- "You've reached your topic limit"
- "Upgrade for more prompts"
How to Upgrade
Step 1: Go to Subscription
Navigate to Subscription from your account menu or settings.
Step 2: View Available Plans
You'll see:
- Your current plan (highlighted)
- Available upgrade options
- Feature comparison
- Pricing for each plan
Step 3: Select New Plan
Click "Upgrade" on your desired plan:
- Review what's included
- Check the new limits
- Note any new features
Step 4: Confirm Payment
Review the upgrade summary:
- New plan name
- Prorated charge (immediate)
- New monthly/annual rate
- Payment method
Click "Confirm Upgrade" to proceed.
Step 5: Start Using New Features
Immediately after upgrade:
- New limits are active
- New features are enabled
- You can add more brands/topics/prompts
Pricing on Upgrade
Prorated Billing
When you upgrade mid-cycle:
- Calculate days remaining in cycle
- Charge difference between old and new plan for those days
- Next full payment at new rate
Example:
- Upgrading from Starter ($49/mo) to Growth ($149/mo)
- 15 days left in billing cycle
- Prorated charge: ($149 - $49) × (15/30) = $50
Annual Plans
If on annual billing:
- Same prorated approach
- Credit from unused portion of old plan
- Applied to new plan cost
