Understanding Websites in the Platform

Websites are connected to brands and represent the domains you want to track. Each website can have its own topics, prompts, and location targeting.

Adding a Website

Step 1: Navigate to Website Creation

From your Dashboard or Brand Settings, click "Add Website".

Step 2: Enter Website Details

Provide the following information:

  • Domain: Your website URL (e.g., example.com)
  • Brand: Select which brand this website belongs to

Step 3: Configure Location Targeting

Select the geographic markets most relevant to your business:

  • United States (US)
  • United Kingdom (GB)
  • Canada (CA)
  • Australia (AU)

Location targeting ensures visibility data reflects how AI platforms respond in your target markets.

Step 4: Save and Set Up Tracking

Click "Create Website" to save. Next, you'll want to set up topics and prompts for this website.

Website Configuration

Additional Pages

Track specific pages on your website beyond just the domain:

  1. Go to Website Settings
  2. Click "Additional Pages"
  3. Add specific URLs you want to monitor for citations

This is useful for tracking:

  • Key product pages
  • Important blog posts
  • Landing pages

SEO Keywords (Optional)

Add keywords for traditional SEO tracking alongside AI visibility:

  1. Go to Website Settings
  2. Click "SEO Keywords"

  • One website per market: If you have regional domains, create separate websites

Switching Between Websites

Access different websites from:

  • The Brand dropdown in your navigation
  • The Websites page listing all connected domains

Website Settings

Access website settings by clicking the gear icon next to any website. Available options:

  • Edit Details: Change domain or brand association
  • Location Settings: Update target markets
  • Additional Pages: Manage tracked URLs
  • SEO Keywords: Manage keyword tracking
  • Delete Website: Remove the website (cannot be undone)

Troubleshooting

Website Not Showing Data

If your website isn't showing visibility data:

  1. Ensure topics and prompts are set up
  2. Check that prompts are marked as active
  3. Wait 24-48 hours for initial data collection

Incorrect Domain

If you entered the wrong domain:

  1. Go to Website Settings
  2. Edit the domain field
  3. Save changes

Note: Changing domains may reset some historical data.
